About

Apollo of the Arts is an inclusive and collaborative ensemble that brings to the fore composers and repertoire that are unknown, underperformed or forgotten, while creating high-level and sustainable work for musicians.
The name 'Apollo of the Arts' was given to the great patron of the visual arts, music and literature, Richard Boyle, 3rd Earl of Burlington, a friend of Handels.
The group's focus is on European baroque music, including works by great masters such as Bach, Purcell and Handel, while also exploring lesser known music by composers such as Zelenka, Tůma, Strozzi and Brixi.
